Hi there, my name is Mia, and I'm a passionate dog lover and experienced dog walker.
I’m a mum to 3 children and 2 rescue dogs. I've been walking dogs for several years now, from German Shepherd Dogs and Labs, to King Charles Spaniels and Miniature Schnauzers, and of course, lots of lovely rescue animals too.
I can honestly say that there's nothing I love more than spending time with furry friends!
I understand that every dog and every family has very different needs. I pride myself on making sure that I really get to know the dog and their family so that I can provide the highest level of care possible.
My aim is for all dogs in my care to be happy and content, by giving them the appropriate companionship, exercise and socialisation.

After completing a Degree in Nutrition at the University of Surrey in 2001, I embarked on a career in the food industry, working mainly within marketing and new product development.
On starting a family, 17 years ago, I took the decision to move away from my London-based job, and set up my own childminding business so that I could have a better work and family balance.
When my children got older and started school, I decided to use my creative skills and background in food to set up a cake business. This has been immensely challenging yet incredibly rewarding, and has given me many unique and unforgettable opportunities and experiences, such as meeting Dame Vera Lynn on her 99th birthday and making a cake for Zoe Ball, which appeared on Strictly’s ‘It Takes Two’!
As an animal lover and dog owner of many years, I took the decision, back in 2022, to begin professional dog-walking and haven’t looked back since!
I love being out and about with all the different breeds and personalities. I have always been very active and caring, and absolute love what I do. I wish I had made the move years ago!
Alongside dog walking, I am a keen oboist. I have my own wind quintet, which has performed at many paid and charity gigs, and I am an oboist with the fantastically talented Sussex Symphony Orchestra, as well as Burgess Hill’s very own Symphony Orchestra.
